Over the years, he has dropped into programs and seminars focused on entrepreneurship, leadership, and child development — adapting his learning to meet the pace of a world that’s evolving faster than ever.
He believes that true education is not defined by degrees but by the commitment to keep learning, questioning, and growing.

Inspired by other innovators who have forged their own paths — Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, Richard Branson, Mark Zuckerberg, Oprah Winfrey, and Walt Disney — Matthew continues to embrace curiosity, adaptability, and creativity as guiding principles of both his personal and professional growth.

Through this mindset, his leadership at In Space Childcare Inc. demonstrates that lifelong learning is the key to staying innovative, grounded, and future-ready.

2015 - 2017

Professional Development & Certifications

Following graduation, Matthew pursued professional development and hands-on training across multiple disciplines, including early childhood education, leadership, and business management.
He combined academic learning with practical experience in the field — an approach that strengthened his ability to lead teams, design programs, and build thriving environments for children and families.

2007 – 2014

Homeschool Education (Grades 6–12)

From Grade 7 onward, Matthew was homeschooled, a path that allowed him to learn independently and explore subjects beyond the standard curriculum.
This flexible and personalized style of learning gave him the freedom to follow his interests deeply — from early childhood education to business, technology, and the arts.
Homeschooling also fostered his lifelong habit of self-motivation and creative problem-solving, traits that continue to define his leadership today.
He completed his secondary education in June 2014, graduating with a vision to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families and children.

2001 - 2007

Nanaimo Christian School (Grades K–6)

Matthew began his educational journey at Nanaimo Christian School (NCS), where his curiosity and creativity first took root.
During these foundational years, he developed a strong sense of courage, leadership, and imagination — qualities that would later shape his approach to both education and entrepreneurship.
It was at NCS that Matthew first discovered his passion for helping others, mentoring children, and building community.
